Synopsis
An apocalyptic tidal wave hits during the ten-year reunion of an all-girls high school and the group of women must find a way to survive not just the apocalypse but each other. The eight-part series debuted on Amazon Prime in 2023.
What we did
Stage23 founder Jonathan Hairman served as on-set VFX Supervisor for the dramedy series filmed in Sydney. Stage23 was responsible for creating the post-apocalyptic world and aesthetic delivering flooded world set extensions across multiple episodes. The Stage 23 team created full CG environments and water simulations, bringing the apocalyptic water-world to full flourish. Pivotal shots included a burning effigy which as fully CG and the seal attack.
